Jan Juel

Bass and Backing Vocals

Jan Juel started taking piano lessons, then drums, until he in 1978 picked the bass.

Jan started playing in local rock bands, and in 1982 he began playing the bass for a living in various dance bands.
In 1987 Jan stopped as a fulltime bass player but continued playing
various music genres, funk, fusion, jazz, latin, and rock.

Those who have a major influence on his bass-play were, for example, Jaco Pastorius, John Patitucci, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, John Entwistle, Philip Lynott, Mark King, Geddy Lee

Jan Juel plays primarily on Sadowsky and Fender basses, Fodera strings, Thomastik-Infeld flatwounds on the fretless, Genz Benz Shuttlemax 12.0 amp, Schroeder cabinets, and various pedals
